SANFLW Team of the Week - Round Nine
With just one week of the 2020 SANFL Women's home and away season left, we now know which four teams will continue on to battle it out in this year's final series.
Despite having a shaky few weeks, Norwood's win over West Adelaide ensures that they are just out of reach of Glenelg's grasp, while the Panthers win over the Bulldogs locks in second spot for them. Meanwhile, the Tigers bounced back with a big win over the Eagles, and for the second week in a row the Roosters registered 88 points while holding their opponents goalless.

Coach: Chris Howie (Norwood)
Captain: Brittany Perry
Vice-Captain: Hannah Munyard
This week's team is dominated by the two top placed sides, with both North Adelaide and South Adelaide each holding five spots. Following them is Glenelg with four named players, then Norwood and Central District with three apiece.
As for this week's coach, we have decided to go with Norwood's Head Coach, Chris Howie, following his side's impressive win over the better-placed Bloods, the win that also saw his side guarantee a finals spot. As for the leaders, we have selected North Adelaide's Best on Ground from the weekend, Brittany Perry, as our Captain. The Vice-Captaincy goes to South Adelaide's Hannah Munyard, who looked dangerous even when she was resting up forward.
North Adelaide's domination on the weekend is reflected through the middle, with a trio of familiar names, Hannah Ewings, Anne Hatchard, Katelyn Pope, all calling it home. This week's followers are Glenelg's Caitlin Gould, who booted three goals on the weekend, as well as Norwood's Najwa Allen, and this week's Vice-Captain, Hannah Munyard.
This week's forward line is a little more mixed, with South Adelaide duo, Teah Charlton and Madison Bennett, being joined by a Glenelg duo of Madi Freeman and Eloise Jones. Also calling the forward line home is this week's Captain, Brittany Perry, and Central's youngster, Lauren Breguet.
Two Eagles are named in this week's defense, with both Annie Falkenberg and Tesharna Maher named there. Joining them is West Adelaide's Captain, Lauren Gee, as well as South Adelaide's intercept-marking-master Lisa Whiteley, Central's Demi Sonneman, and Norwood's Mattea Breed.
Rounding out this week's team is Norwood's Jessica Macolino, South Adelaide youngster, Gypsy Schirmer, Glenelg's Sam Franson, and North's Ashleigh Woodland. The final three spots includes Sturt's only named player, Tiah Hough, as well as Central's Lauren Smith and West's Zoe Venning.
