SFLW Team of the Week - Round Fifteen
Round 15 saw a Cobra celebrate their 50th match while a Falcon brought their season tally to 50 goals.
Cove got the job done for Dana O'Brien with an impressive first half against Aldinga, 8.9 (57) to 2.1 (13). The Cobras booted 6 first-half goals while only conceding one--with Felicity Oliver going onto kick double the number of goals as the Sharks did by the time the final siren rang.
Flagstaff Hill also had a milestone, with Emily Brockhurst's 5 goal tally on the weekend bringing her season tally to 50. These 5 were a part of a 16 goal haul that the Falcons managed during their crushing win over the Hackham Hawks, 16.14 (110) to 0.0 (0).
Reynella overcame some early accuracy problems in order to defeat Christies Beach, 7.11 (53) to 3.4 (22). The Wineflies kicked 5 straight behinds to begin the match and only led by a point at halftime. Yet a 5 goal to none final half saw Reynella break away with the win.

Captain: Renee Wurfel
Vice-Captain: Jenna Andrews
Unsurprisingly, it is the two biggest winners of the weekend, Flagstaff Hill and Reynella, who sit with the most players represented in our Team of the Week.
The Vice-Captain of our Round 15 side is Flagstaff Hill's Jenna Andrews, whose 3 goal display saw her get recognised as the Falcons third Best on Ground. The Captain is Reynella's Renee Wurfel, who continued her string of impressive displays on the weekend.
The current SFLW leading goalkicker, Emily Brockhurst, makes yet another appearance in our attacking 6 after booting 5 goals during the Falcons big win. This tally now means that she has notched up a half-century of goals this season, 10 games for 50 goals.
Fellow Falcon and our Round 15 Vice-Captain, Jenna Andrews, also makes an appearance up forward after booting 3 majors on the weekend.
A dangerous Reynella trio, that includes our Captain Renee Wurfel, Georgia Pennifold and Caitlin Williams, is named on this week's half-forward line. Caitlin kicked 3 majors for the Winelfies while Renee's impressive display earned herself Best on Ground honours, and Georgia continued her exciting time in the SFLW.
Cove's Felicity Oliver joins the side after booting 4 majors during the Cobras' win. Felicity rounds out of this week's starting offence.
Rucking duties this week fall to Cove's Jaime Norup, whose actions for the Cobras saw herself be named as their best afield.
On-ball is Christies Beach's Round 15 Best on Ground, Nicole Campbell, who had her usual signature impact on the Saints despite her side not getting the result that they had hoped for.
Rounding out the on-ball division is Reynella's Madison Bennett, who has continued her string of impressive displays in the black and white. Fellow Reynella gun, Ella Besley, finds herself on the wing this week after impressing during an outstanding win.
A highly talented Falcon duo of Alana Baker and Shay'Lee Dayman join our Team of the Week after enjoying a weekend out in the red and blue. Alana earned Flagstaff Hill's Best on Ground title, while Shay'Lee has continued her run of impressive weeks and is flying at the moment after suffering an ankle injury earlier in the year.
The reliable Cove Cobra, Renee Ullrich, headlines this week's back 6 after playing well during her 51st outing. Fellow Cobra, Seraphina Moon, also joins the defensive 6 after enjoying a solid performance on the weekend.
Meanwhile, after another strong display, Hackham's Caitlin Haire holds her spot down back. Fellow Hawk and impressive interceptor, Emily Hateley-Watson, makes another appearance down back
Saints recruit, Renee Harrison, makes her Team of the Week debut after playing well for the red, black and white despite the tough opposition. Aldinga's third-best, Amber O'Hanlon, joins the team this week, with this talented Shark rounding out our back 6 for this week.
Hackham veteran and their Round 15 Best on Ground, Alana Browne, headlines this week's rotations. Emma Sjoberg, the Falcon who's been enjoying a breakout season, also joins the backup brigade.
Adding plenty of attacking potential is Amy Mathewson, who was busy for the Sharks on the weekend--typified by her 2 goals. Promising Saints prospect, Talia Vivar, rounds out the rotations for Round 15.
The final two spots in our Round 15 MWM SFLW Team of the Week belong to the reliable Hackham Hawk, Hannah Crump, and versatile Falcon, Chloe Meyers.
