SFLW Team of the Week - Round Five
Round Five was a weekend of one-sided action: two games were decided by over 100 points while the third saw Flagstaff Hill get up by 52.
Cove set the theme for Round Five, with the Cobras kicking four unanswered goals during the opening term to storm away to a 107 point win over Hackham, 15.18 (108) to 0.1 (1). Kosztovits, Oliver and LeDuff combined for 12 of the Cobras' 15 goals while Alana Browne was one of the few highlights for the Hawks.
Reynella also kicked four unanswered goals during the opening term of their clash with Aldinga, and they never looked back. Finishing with a 15.13 (103) to 0.0 (0) win, the Wineflies, who were well supplied by Woods and Williams, were in control for pretty much the entirety of the match.
Flagstaff Hill, the reigning premiers, were the only winning side to concede a major score on the weekend but they still got up in reasonable comfort, 8.11 (59) to 1.1 (7). Port Noarlunga kicked their first and only major of the match during the opening term; but over the next three quarters they only scored one behind compared to the Falcons' 5.8 (38).

Captain: Felicity Oliver Vice-Captain: Caitlin Williams
Each team has been represented this week but it is the three big winners who hold the most spots in the side; spearheaded by the reigning premiers who have seven. Following close behind is Cove and Reynella who both sit with six named players each.
After having one of the more dominant forward displays of the round, Felicity Oliver earns the title of Captain for this week's side. Meanwhile Reynella ruck, Caitlin Williams, earns the Vice-Captaincy after impressing during the Wineflies' big Round Five win.
Reynella's Rebecca Denyer kicks off this week's attack after finished with four majors to her name. Joining her at centre half forward is Alesia Leduff, who added three majors to her name during the Cobras' massive Round Five win
Our Round Five Captain, Felicity Oliver, obviously calls our forward line home after finishing with a Best on Ground performance for Cove, which was no doubt helped by her four goals. Joining her is a fellow Cobra, Edith Kosztovits, who finished with five majors; which equates to a third of Cove's Round Five goals.
The final pair to round out our attack belongs to Flagstaff Hill, with Rachel Crockart joining fellow Falcon, Zoe Walker-Roberts. Earning Best on Ground honours, Rachel finished with two goals to her name while Zoe added two to her tally as well.
Our Vice-Captain, Caitlin Williams, earns the rucking duties this week after impressing for Reynella with a standout performance that included two goals.
Joining our Vice-Captain in the on-ball division is Hackham's ever-reliable Alana Browne, and Port Noarlunga young gun, Bridie Nye.
The middle of the ground is home to Emily Woods after she collected three goals during a second Best on Ground performance for Reynella. Alongside her on the wing is Flagstaff Hill's Isobel Dyson, who finished second best for the reigning premiers.
The final spot amongst the midfielders belongs to Eilish O'Hanlon, who holds her spot on the wing after impressing once again in the yellow and black.
Headlining this week's back six is Cove's Renee Ullrich, who joins the side after impressing with the Cobras. She is joined on the half-back line by Reynella prospect, Ella Besley, who is a bit out of position this week but we decided that we had to have Besley as a started.
Impressively, for the third time in five weeks, Aldinga's Kiara Lovett joins the side as our Team of the Week full back. While at centre half back is Port Noarlunga's Best on Ground, Kaiya Ivett.
A Falcons duo calls the defense home this week, with Lanie Williams and Emma Sjoberg both joining the side after helping shut out the Porties' attackers.
Headlining this week's rotations is Flagstaff Hill's Hannah Griffen, who received high praise from her teammates following their big win.
There is no shortage of talls this week, with Flagstaff Hill's Riley Mitchell joining Cove's Emma Fitzpatrick after both impressed for her their respective sides. Balancing the height with the speed is Reynella on-baller, Sarah Bourn.
The final two spots in our Round Five SFLW MWM Team of the Week belong to Cove's Dana O'Brien, and Reynella ruck, Grace Doran.
