Favourite Playing Position: midfield or full forward

What is your favourite way to spend an off-day?

"Spending days off I love to go surfing and hang with friends, I also play basketball."



What is your favourite oval to play on and why?

"Favourite oval to play on is probably Mars Stadium in Ballarat. It is the only really big professional oval you can play on a as 15-year-old."


What was it that motivated you to play footy?

"my dad, we would always go watch Essendon men’s play and train."



How would you describe your own footballing journey?

"Challenging, always being up against older girls and boys. Because I have always been bottom age playing a few games for senior footy at 10 years old."


What has been your favourite footballing experience and why?

"My favourite experience so far playing footy was having the privilege to train with the Carlton VFLW team at 14 years of age. One of the best experiences and motivators of my life."


Who is your sporting/footy role model and why?

"My role models are Jess Hosking and Tayla Harris."


"Jess because she is such a genuine person on and off the field and has such a positive attitude towards her footballing. And I love how committed she is into charity work."


"And Tayla because no matter how many people put her down she gets she still manages to get out there every week and kick ass and show everyone that women’s footy is so important to the next generation and it is growing as the years go by. She is a role model to all girls and her dedication towards her sport is so inspiring."



What would you say is your most favourite and least favourite thing about footy?

"My favourite thing about footy is the competitiveness and social side of it your teammates become your family and footy is an outlet for some of us and something I personally want to take up professionally and that everyone’s out there to also have fun."


"I would say I do not have any dislikes about footy just that the girls do not get as much as a chance as the men’s. Which hopefully in the upcoming years people will open their eyes and see how good some of these women are."
